Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This page explains every way money or commercial interest could touch the editorial on this site. The short version: affiliate links are rare and labelled, featured clinics do not pay to be featured, and the editor’s ownership of HALO is declared wherever HALO appears.
Affiliate links
Occasionally the site may link to a product (for example an at-home device or skincare product) through an affiliate link, which pays the site a small commission at no extra cost to you. When that happens the link is visibly labelled, uses rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines treat it as commercial, and never changes the editorial assessment: products are covered on evidence, and criticism is not softened for commission. As of the last update of this page, the site contains no live affiliate links.
Featured clinics
Clinics featured on the clinics pageare selected on editorial criteria: the editor’s direct experience and the clinic’s standards. Clinics do not pay for placement, and no referral fees are received for readers who book.
The HALO interest
The site’s editor, Dan d’Auvergne-Massie, is the founder and CEO of HALO, an Australian health tech platform featured on the clinics page. This is a declared personal interest, not a paid placement: no money flows between HALO and this site. Where a clinic featured on this site is also a HALO business customer, that relationship will be disclosed on the clinic’s card.
Prescription medicines
Nothing on this site is sponsored by a pharmaceutical company, and the site does not accept advertising for prescription medicines. Discussion of GLP-1 medications is editorial and complies with the TGA Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.
