Why these are planning tools, not calculators
An earlier version of this page offered a severity score, a treatment matcher and a month-by-month recovery timeline. They were replaced because none of them rested on a validated method. Nobody has shown that age, kilos lost or a home pinch test can grade loose skin reliably, or that a web form can pick the right treatment for a body it has never seen. A confident number from a tool like that does more harm than good.
So these tools do the part a website can do honestly. They help you name what is bothering you, find the reading that matches where you are, see which questions to ask at each stage, and arrive at an appointment with your history and questions written down. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere or saved.
If you only use one, make it the appointment notes. A short consultation goes much further when the important things are on paper before you walk in.
For the questions these tools cannot answer, such as whether a particular treatment suits your skin or whether you meet any Medicare criteria, the right next step is an examination by a GP, dermatologist or surgeon.
